Well the day that many have waited for has arrived! Opening Day for all of Major League Baseball. Enough of the exhibitions, enough of the ceremonial openings of New York Stadiums. This is real, this is baseball, this is the National Pastime. I figured that people should take a minute, watch the following video and get ready for 162 (or more) games that give you a minute to relive your youth.

Complete 2009 Baseball Hall of Fame Ballot.

December 2, 2008 · Filed Under Baseball · Comment

I saw this online and figured I would share the list of potential candidates for the Hall of Fame for next year in Baseball. I personally believe the Rickey Hendersoness of The Rickey Henderson candidate will be the only Rickey Henderson in the Hall of Fame class next year, and probably also the only person voted in period. I want to root for Jim Rice, but I was at Bob Stanley and Jim Rice Day in 1988, which was to be their last game played, and Jim didn’t even show up. That kinda soured me as a lil fella on Jim, also he almost ran me down in a golf cart along side Louis Tiante at the Red Sox minor league complex in Fort Myers.

Mark McGwire will be laughed at again too…..
