Conference Attendees get a sneak peek at Topps’ T-206 100th Anniversary Product at the 24th Hawaii Trade Conference in Florida April 19th through the 23rd. 2009 Century Legends
Debuting in 2005, the second edition of Century Collection carries on the rich baseball tradition that made the inaugural release a huge success. By making stamps the focus of the card, we are able to add to the collectability and insert some of the greatest names in history — including celebrities! It will be sold in five cards per pack, 10 packs per box, SRP is $10 per pack. Scheduled release date is April 22, 2009. The Grandaddy of the Modern Era?
The Babe Ruth Tools of the Trade game jersey jumbo patch closed on EBay at a record $3,303.00. This caused some discussion on the boards of “Is this the Honus Wagner of modern era Game Jersey cards. This was a card that got an amazing amount of press coverage when released. Even covered by ESPN in this article. I’d love to get some feedback on this, is there any disputing that this is the top game jersey card perhaps ever? If you don’t think it is, what would you consider to be #1 or what in the future could you see topping this card?
