EEE is shaping up very nicely

Panini released some more info today about the Elite Extra Edition Baseball product coming out next month. The biggest highlight is that Albert Pujols signed 20 cards depicting him in his high school jersey to be inserted in the product, plus the FIRST EVER Aroldis Chapman certified autographs!

First On Card EEE auto pics surface

Panini posted the first image of an on card EEE Baseball autograph on their Twitter Page. I really commend them on this effort. Many of the first Panini on card autographs had bubbling issues, and no area designated for the autograph. The Tony Sanchez autograph that they released seems to correct both of these issues.

“Unique” game used scenario?

This card hit Ebay in the last few days here. It’s a fantastic looking laundry tag of former Falmouth Commodore, and current Boston Red Sox, Jacoby Ellsbury.  The card even has the MLB authentication tag, which you can go to MLB’s authentication site and verify where the shirt was from. Unfortunately when you look it up, it says it came from a team issued jersey. Read more

The first images of Topps Pro Debut MILB 2009 have hit. Some are amazing, some of them I’ll be honest with the AFLAC cards cut up are painful to see. But I can sort of understand with the Razor Contracts, they have no other way to get the players autographs.

Shoeless Joe returns to Upper Deck
