Panini has added more to their Facebook page about Certified autographs of Brett Farve in 2009 Leaf Certified. We wanted to share their press release with you, and one of them has already hit EBay. Hopefully the people who put the stickers on for Panini can do a better job than on my David Ortiz Mirror Black with the upside down autograph!
In 2009, Panini America has taken the extraordinary efforts to deliver more value than ever to the hobbyist. And with its forthcoming release of 2009 Certified football, that commitment continues. Every hobby box of 2009 Certified football will now include four hits, with the majority of boxes containing two autographs and two memorabilia cards.
Highlighting the program are the Freshman Fabrics Rookie Cards that feature two swatches of material and an autograph. The popular Fabric of the Game insert set also returns this year and feature parallel die-cutting, collegiate alternate photos and dual-player autograph memorabilia combos. The return of Souvenir Stamps will once again showcase actual U.S. Postal stamps.
The program culminates with the FIRST certified autographed card to feature Minnesota Vikings quarterback, Brett Favre, in his new uniform. Favre will have 15 total autographs seeded throughout a variety of parallel, including Mirror Gold, Mirror Emerald and the one-of-one Mirror Black. Each Favre autograph will be sequentially numbered to 10 or less.
Each 5-card hobby pack of Certified Football retails for $10, with hobby boxes containing four autographs and/or memorabilia cards and four inserts/parallels, on average.
