Topps Signature Basketball Review
I got in a box of Topps Signature Basketball today to check out. This set is one of the last Topps Basketball products, and they definitely unloaded their sticker inventory in it. It is an 8 pack box, and you get one autograph per box including one Level A Autograph that includes Larry Bird, Magic, Bill Russell, Shaq, Derrick Rose and more NBA Stars. I hate buying pitching rookies, that is unless they are in the Red Sox Organization. Michael Bowden was one of the first Red Sox pitchers I tried to hunt down some of his bigger cards, not just the base rookies. This weekend he came in on national television against the Yankees, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results.

Upper Deck Claims Victory Over Topps
Got this press release from Upper Deck today about the lawsuit that was filed by Topps over the OPC 2009 set. Upper Deck claims victory due to the fact that a New York judge denied a temporary restraining order to prevent the 2009 Upper Deck Series II and 2009 O-Pee-Chee.
Topps files suit against UD
Sorry there has been a delay in posting lately folks, hopefully will record a new episode of The Card Podcast tonight. But this news came out last night that Topps has filed suit against Upper Deck over the Upper Deck 2009 O-Pee-Chee Brand using the same design as 1971 and 1975 Topps. The story follows after the link.
